Privacy and Website Use:

Privacy is a paramount concern, and at VIKING Transport Iceland, we are committed to ensuring transparency in how we manage it across all our platforms. This section outlines our approach and its implications for you.


Bookings:

Bookings can be made directly at https://viking-iceland.online/or via email to Info@viking-iceland.online For private tours, one primary contact is required to provide payment and contact details for the group.


Payment Terms:

Payments can be made securely online via credit card or through a secure payment link provided by our sales team. The payment process is secure and independent; we do not receive or store your credit card information.


Cancellation Policy:

Private Airport Transfers and Day Tours:
Cancellations made 24 hours or more prior to departure are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations must be sent via email to Info@viking-iceland.online No refunds are issued for cancellations received less than 24 hours before departure.


Pricing and Validity:

All prices include VAT and applicable taxes. Rates and terms quoted by our sales representatives remain valid for 14 days from the date of issuance. Prices are per vehicle or per tour type, as specified.


Liability and Force Majeure:

VIKING Transport Iceland is not liable for loss, damage, accidents, illness, or changes in schedule caused by external circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to adjust routes, itineraries, or timings when necessary. Additional costs incurred due to schedule changes (e.g., hotels, meals, transfers) are the traveler’s responsibility. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance.


General Liability:

VIKING Transport Iceland assumes no responsibility for:

  • Actions or omissions of travelers or members of their party.

  • Acts of unrelated third parties.

  • Events categorized as Force Majeure.


Complaints:

If you encounter any issues during your trip, please report them to VIKING Transport Iceland immediately. Complaints must be submitted before your departure from Iceland to be eligible for resolution.


Insurance:

Travel insurance is mandatory. VIKING Transport Iceland is not responsible for any costs resulting from the absence of appropriate insurance. Travelers must ensure their insurance covers all planned activities.


Credit Card Fraud:

We reserve the right to cancel bookings due to declined transactions or incorrect payment details. We may perform random audits to protect against fraud.


Confidentiality:

We are committed to confidentiality. VIKING Transport Iceland will not disclose any confidential information unless legally required or essential for fulfilling service obligations. Such information may only be shared with relevant personnel or advisers.


Information Collection:

We collect the lead traveler’s full name, phone number, email, hotel location in Iceland, and flight details. This information may be shared with third-party providers involved in delivering your tour or transfer.


Governing Law:

This agreement is governed by Icelandic law. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Iceland. Concerns regarding personal data processing may be directed to the Icelandic Data Protection Authority.
